During our practice as SLPs, we identified several key features in children's books that result in a memorable book sharing experience while effectively building speech and language skills in beginning communicators. Although there are endless children's books to choose from, we often found ourselves modifying them to include more of the features. This inspired us to create the ideal first books and positively impact the experiences of young children.
Our vision is to create a new kind of book sharing experience – one in which you enter your child’s world, connect in a special way, and build powerful communication skills. Our goal is to produce a series of books, called the Frankenstock Early Booster Series. This series will include 7 books  each emphasizing an early speech sound, various early acquired words, and beginning language skills.
We are very excited to now have our first two books available!

BEANS!
Your child will have the opportunity to practice the /b/ sound and further develop their talking ability! You and your child will enjoy the silly expressions (ie. uh oh!, huh?, oops!), and will love the humor and surprise elements in this book. Your child will feel empowered as a communicator as she/he acquires new powerful words such as “num, num”, “baby”, and “ouch” to name a few! In addition, your child will be encouraged to pair two words together (“Buddy Beans!”) and learn the joy of book sharing.
MESSY ME!
Your child will have the opportunity to practice the /m/ speech sound and further develop their talking ability! You and your child will have fun making meaningful expressions (ie. mmmm!, AHHH!, zzzzzz!), and will share many giggles while interacting and pretending with this book. Your child will feel empowered as a communicator as she/he acquires new powerful words such as “more”, “milk” and “my” to name a few! Furthermore, your child will be introduced to new language skills like the early pronoun “my” and beginning word combining (ie. mmmm milk!).
